Assalamualaikum my dear readers? How are you? Hope you are just fine. ;-)

As for this time posting, I'm very happy to share my yesterday experience of the first time baking a cake full with decoration!! ;-) Well, it was not the first time of baking the cake, it is just that I call it 'a first time' thing because it's not beautiful yet with the decoration.. I'm very excited because I have just bought an electric oven and a mixer last Saturday, http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=53d2cb902c&view=att&th=122f41a082c1f90c&attid=0.1&disp=inline&zw

together with the basic decoration tool (my hand was in pain to decorate the cake using this tool; Look at the picture below. That white-and-red plastic decoration set make make limbs in pain. huhu.)

I'm dreaming of buying a set of nozzle with decoration paper bags later on. It's much easier to decorate it later. It was the first time for me to make the butter cream too, the colour was limited ( I had only 3 flavours avaliable at home this time: red-syrup, chocolate-choc flavour, and white- the base colour of the cream butter). That's why this cake seems a little dull in colour. ;-) Okay, below is the recipe for this cake. The Chocolate Chips Margerine Cake.

~~ Chocolate Chips Margerine Cake recipe by Inia Lurun Sophie ~~

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup of self-raised flour
1 cup of margerine ( if you don't want to use butter in your recipe for health reason, you can add up another half of margerine to replace the butter)
1/2 cup of butter (If you don't want butter, do as above recommendation)
1 cup of caster sugar
5 size - A eggs (if your eggs are small in size, consider adding 2-4 eggs in the ingredient)
1/5 cup of fresh milk ( or if you wish to replace with hot chocolate, you can.)
1 tea spoon of Vanilla Icing or we call it in Malaysia as "Esen Vanila"
1 tea spoon of Chocolate flavour
1/2 cup of Chocolate Rice

Let's Bake! ;-D

1. Put the caster sugar and margerine in your mixer. Mix well until they become white. ** Do remember to check at the bottom of the bowl, make sure all the sugar and margerine mixed well. Sometimes your mixer cannot reach the bottom of the bowl while mixing.

2. Put in the eggs, fresh milk, and flour a little by little one after another. Means, put in one egg, let it mix, put in little milk, let it mix well, put in some flour, let it mix well and then start again to mix another egg, followed by the milk, the flour.. egg.. milk.. flour.. egg.. milk.. flour..

3. When all the ingredients above mixed well, put in the vanilla essence and chocolate essence. Mix well.

4. Put in the chocolate rice and mix well.

5. Bake in the oven by the heat of 180 'Celcius for 15 - 20 minutes. Well, sometimes your cake is half-cooked, so make sure you check in the cake again. If it needs more time to have fun in the oven, let them be together for another 5-10 minutes. ;-)

6. If you wish to decorate cake, you'll need to keep your baked cake in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes, after that you'll need to cut out the outer part of your cake ( you can put them aside if you wish to make them snack later on), and you can start decorating your cake. ;-)

That's All! ;-D

This is how you make the Cream to be spreaded on the cake to decorate it later.

~~ How To Make Cake's Cream ~~

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup of margerine (depends on how much decoration you'd like to make)
1/2 cup of Krimwell (vegetable fat) -- As for me, I don't favour it much, so I only put margerine. Depends on you. ;-)
1/2 cup of caster sugar ( I don't like my cream to be too sweet, that's why I only put half cup)
1/4 cup of evaporated milk
1 tea spoon of Vanilla essence
Favourite Food Colourings

Let's Make The Cream! ;-D

1. Mix well the margerine and Krimwell until they became white in colour.

2. Put in caster sugar. Mix well.

3. Put in Vanilla essence and evaporated milk. Mix well.

4. You can now separate your cream to put them colouring of your favourites. **Remember to keep your creams in cool place. Hot environment may melts on your cream. ;-)
